About WhoRugged?
13+ years inside crypto, writing down what I've actually seen. Scam protection, money tracing, and the playbooks nobody talks about.
I've spent 13+ years in the deepest trenches of blockchain. This site is a hobby, built for education, where I write down what I've actually seen.
For thirteen years straight I've lived inside every major coin, ecosystem, and protocol you can name. I've bought and sold thousands of cryptocurrencies. I've moderated projects. I've worked on projects, some as a volunteer, some as a paid contributor.
Along the way I met some genuinely strange people and watched some genuinely strange scams. I saw projects get hacked. I got scammed myself. I made serious money. I lost serious money. I'm still here, and I finished the story on my own terms.
What I am, and what I'm not
I'm not a journalist. I'm not the founder of a big protocol. I'm not a token holder writing to pump my bags. I'm not a name-brand influencer. I'm someone who survived full-time inside this industry and came out with a lot to say.
Today I only do consulting. I write here about the scam playbooks that almost nobody knows exist, how to survive a bear market, how to trace money on-chain, and the mistakes and wins that shaped me.
For readers who want the long form, my first books are on the way.
House rules
- No names. I don't name any specific company or person in what I publish here. No accusations, no innuendo. Just patterns.
- I write when I want to write. This isn't a news outlet with a stable of editors. There's just me, and there are no schedules.
- Paid partnerships only for education and consulting. I do NOT promote coins, tokens, or crypto projects. Don't even bother pitching. The answer is no.
One more thing
Nothing on this site is financial advice. Read what I write as stories, lessons, and pattern recognition from someone who's been around, not as instructions on what to do with your money.
