What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website places on your device to remember preferences, measure usage, and enable certain features. Some cookies are essential; most are not.

The Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary

  • whorugged-consent: stores your cookie preference (accepted or declined). Without it the banner would appear on every page load. Set in your browser's localStorage, never sent to any server. Retained until you clear it manually.

Analytics (only after you Accept)

  • Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*): loaded only if you click Accept on the banner. Used to measure aggregate traffic: which pages are read, referral sources, country-level location. No personal data is collected. Retention: up to 14 months, set by Google.

Advertising (not currently used)

  • The Site does not currently display ads and does not set advertising cookies.
  • If advertising is added later, it will be limited to either Google AdSense (or a comparable network, which sets its own cookies and is controlled through the consent banner) or direct-sold education-related sponsorships such as books, courses, or tools. When that happens, this page will be updated and the consent banner will gain a separate advertising option.
  • We do not and will not accept advertising for cryptocurrencies, tokens, coin launches, or crypto projects of any kind. Paid or unpaid. No exceptions.
  • You can always opt out of Google's personalized ads at Google's ads settings, whether or not this Site ever uses them.

If you Decline or ignore the consent banner, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. Only the consent preference itself is stored.

Changing Your Choice

To revoke consent and stop analytics tracking, clear the whorugged-consent entry from your browser's site data (DevTools → Application → Local Storage on desktop, or Settings → Privacy → Cookies and site data on mobile). The banner will reappear on your next visit.

Third-Party Cookies

External pages we link to (Twitter, Telegram, Google policies, etc.) are governed by their own cookie policies. We don't control them.
